Peel and chop the onions, garlic cloves into thin slices.
Pour 2 tbsp into the pan. vegetable oil, chopped onions and garlic, fry over medium heat for 4-5 minutes.
Add salt, black pepper, chili pepper flakes, sugar to the pan, stir and simmer over medium heat for another 1 min.
Add soy sauce and ketchup to the pan, mix, bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook for another 5 minutes over low heat.
Place 4 layers of foil on a baking sheet, grease it with a small amount of vegetable oil, put pork ribs in the center of the baking sheet on the foil and pour over the prepared sauce.
Preheat the oven to 170 ° C. Carefully wrap the ribs in foil and place in a preheated oven. Bake at 170 ° C for 1 hour 20 minutes.
In the meantime, prepare the sauce for glazing the ribs. In a bowl, combine sugar, apple cider vinegar, salt, black pepper, dried garlic, paprika, hot chili sauce and ketchup.
After 1 hour 20 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven, carefully unfold the foil and with a brush spread the prepared sauce for glaze over the ribs. Leave the ribs open and put them back in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 ˚C.
Allow the ribs to cool slightly before serving. Serve with fresh vegetables, rice or potatoes.
